The Dental Road Crew helped children with their smiles in Camp Washington on Tuesday. The big bus, called “The Dental Road Crew” is really a dental clinic on wheels.
Inside the truck, dentists give children cleanings and look for dental problems while the youngsters get to watch cartoons. The road crew is part of the Cincysmiles Foundation that works to give dental care to those who would normally go without it.
County OKs mobile dental program
Clay County children and pregnant women who can’t afford dental care will be able to get it through a program offered by the Clay County Health Department and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
The Kansas Cavity Free Kids Community Health Program is aimed at-risk children and pregnant women, Health Department director Dana Rickley said.
Dental work program helps Oklahoma women

After 14 fillings and a repaired gap, Long’s confidence is back. And she’s working.
