Bleaching gel is usually peroxide-based. It’s recommended not to use gel with more then 10% of peroxide because it can damage your teeth. In fact, it will anyway damage your teeth if any excess plaque buildup or cavities are not treated before.

The trays are made in time and especially for your teeth shape. It’s important that they fit precisely. It will make the dental tooth bleaching process stronger and the final result better.

Another way to whiten teeth at home is the special toothpaste usage. This so called whitening or bleaching toothpaste was specially created for the majority of persons, with their different teeth problems and treatment purposes.

You can find absolutely harmless toothpaste with chalk. It’s considered to produce teeth bleaching in a natural way. It’s obvious that this method will clean only the surface of the tooth, what means that the results will be less dramatic.

At home tooth bleaching is a more convenient and accessible way to whiten your teeth. You can do this whenever you can and stop any moment you wish. However, the results will come much later. But, if time is not a problem for you then this seems to be the perfect choice.

  1. In case you have gum recession be ready that your at home tooth bleaching won’t bring the wanted result. Roots do not react the same way to whitening agents as the tooth does. It is probably another example when teeth should be treated firstly, and then whitened.
