It is true that there are many adults who wish to straighten their teeth who are self-conscience about wearing braces as this is something which is unusual for working adults. So they need no dental braces, or need some invisible braces.
Invisalign braces are literally invisible — no more metal grids. Made of plastic, the Invisalign braces are custom-fit to the patient’s teeth. Like traditional dental braces, the Invisalign braces gradually straighten teeth, to a healthier, more attractive new smile. Invisalign braces do not take longer than traditional braces, but the length of orthodontic treatment depends upon the severity of each person’s dental condition.
Benefits of Invisalign Braces
- Invisalign braces are practically invisible. Maybe no one will notice that you wear braces. It will make you more self confident and make your smile looking clear.
- Invisalign are removable braces. Unlike usual dental braces, you have the flexibility to remove Invisalign braces while eating and drinking.
- Invisalign invisible braces do not have metal and wires and do not cause irritation to your mouth. I also makes you spend less time at dentist.
- Invisalign braces let you keep better your oral hygiene, you may easily remove them and brush teeth and floss.
These invisible braces are clear and are fitted to the patient’s mouth to gradually move the teeth into line. The teeth are slowly aligned when one wears Invisalign braces just as when one wears metal braces. The Invisalign aligners must be changed every two weeks as a result.
While Invisalign invisible braces can be used with virtually any treatment philosophy, special dental training is needed. All dentists interested in treating patients with Invisalign braces must attend and complete specialized instructional sessions to become trained Invisalign providers before cases will be accepted from their office. Close to 30,000 doctors worldwide are already certified to treat patients using Invisalign invisible braces.
Other Ways For Straighten Teeth
Fixed Dental Braces
Fixed dental braces are the traditional way that teeth are straightened and are typically associated with young children. Metal wires are attached to the front surfaces of your teeth with brackets.Lingual Braces
Lingual dental braces are similar to standard wire braces but they are fitted to the inside surfaces of your teeth and are not visible from the front. But lingual braces can be quite uncomfortable and difficult to get accustomed to, but provide a perfect solution to straightening your teeth without anyone noticing.Inman Aligner Braces
The Inman aligner is a cross between the invisible braces and a metal braces system since it is not as “invisible” as Invisialign braces as it has metal components but it relies on a removable aligner that moves the teeth by applying forces to them over time. Inman braces are quicker and affordable.Damon Braces
Damon Braces are a “friction free” alternative to conventional treatment with dental braces. Damon braces do not have any elastic ties and so cause less irritation, this braces are more comfortable and provide faster tooth straightening results than treatment with conventional braces.http://www.cosmeticdentistryguide.co.uk/articles/teeth-straightening.html

I would like to know where I can go for invisalign (invisible braces consultation and treatment and the costs and duration specifics) in Johannesburg South Africa, Gauteng province, Sandton Area. Thanks in advance!
What if a person is a smoker. What effects does it have on the invisalign process?
I have a small jaw, but big/long teeth and very deep roots. They are pretty healthy and straight, but too big for my mouth giving me both an overbite, overjet and underbite. My two front top teeth and my lower canines have also been pushed forwards even further over the years (I am now 24). I had all four wisdom teeth removed last summer due to the pain in my jaw getting too intense (I find it difficult to close my mouth when eating and talking, so by later afternoon I always have pains in my jaw and head. I also can’t ‘rest’ my jaw, so sleeping is difficult). My teeth do not look as bad as some of the photos I have seen on the internet and the NHS will not pay for any more operations, regardless of the pain. I’m not exactly rich, but the in the long run, the money I will save on painkillers and icepacks means having more teeth pulled and a brace fitted will be the cheaper option!
I have looked into jaw surgery, but this seems even more expensive and I really cannot afford it – aside from the possible ‘numbing’ effects and other potential problems bone surgery can cause. Removing more teeth and pushing the remaining teeth back with a brace would allow me to close my mouth properly and I would be happy enough with that, even if the teeth are still too big in size. I am happy to wear a retainer for the rest of my life if it gets rid of the pain, so removal and a brace seems like the best option. I am less worried about whether others can see the brace – I am happy enough with the metal variety if the results will be better. I am just desperate for something to be done as I have seriously considered just ripping the whole lot out when the pain has gotten too bad!
I have no idea how to go about finding a good orthodontist and have had so many bad appointments in the past. My dentist has not been helpful and says my ‘open-mouth look’ gives me character and just prescribes more pain killers! The orthodontist he finally agreed to send me to was adamant that I would need jaw surgery and that braces alone would be pointless! I then found another person, who told me that I could have braces and didn’t need surgery, but they would only sort out my overbite. I don’t know anyone else who had braces as an adult and my the orthodontist my cousin had as a child has since retired. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!
I would like to know if there is an orthodontist in Dubai who can treat me using the Inman Aligner treatment?
I had a maxillofacial surgery and normal metal braces over 12 years ago and had the perfect smile. Unfortunately overtime the bottom teeth have now started to move forward and space out, causing now an underbite?
Can anyone tell me if the Inman Aligner could help me, and once again who can treat me in Dubai, as well as the cost.
Thank you
How much are Invisalign braces if you don’t have dental insurance? Would you have to take them out to smoke? And is there any pain in the procedure?
