Improve Your Life With Teeth Whitening

Improving one’s self-image can be a cumbersome task, considering that most people’s confidence levels are dictated by people’s opinions and other external factors, essentially making it out of their control. Aside from the obvious remedies to an unkempt appearance (getting a haircut, wearing nicer clothes, etc.) there seems to be one thing that is relatively overlooked: teeth whitening.

Improve Your Life With Teeth Whitening

At the end of every year you might find yourself saying things like how you’re going to get in shape or quit smoking for the new year… you know, unrealistic goals.

Most of us will probably get a membership to 24 hour fitness and make one valiant attempt at a workout before we are forced to get off the elliptical and go have a cigarette to calm down and eschew the impending heart attack.

Before you know it, December will have rolled around again and you’ll be in the same place you found yourself twelve months earlier, with the same unfulfilled resolutions, but now with lungs a little blacker and a gut a little fatter.

Instead of telling yourself “I’ll do it this year… for real this time,” try attacking the source that has been inhibiting you from solving your problems this whole time: your inability to accomplish your goals.

Now you may be thinking to yourself, “I think I know how to accomplish goals I set, I’m not in elementary school.” Well, if you’ve made it this far into this article, chances are you’re not as good as it as you may think.

By employing the theory of psycho-cybernetics, created by Dr. Maxwell Maltz, thousands of people have improved their lives by being able to more efficiently set and achieve their goals.

Although there are many tenets in this theory, they all revolve around one’s ability to improve their outward success by first improving their own self-schemas, or self images.

Improving one’s self-image can be a cumbersome task, considering that most people’s confidence levels are dictated by people’s opinions and other external factors, essentially making it out of their control.

Lucky for us though, we’re not going to get into that right now. I’m going to tell you a simple way to get started down this path, which is improving your physical image.

Aside from the obvious remedies to an unkempt appearance (getting a haircut, wearing nicer clothes, etc.) there seems to be one thing that is relatively overlooked: teeth whitening.

Having a whiter smile not only projects a concern for your own physical appearance and a higher likeliness of others inferring that you take yourself seriously, but more importantly, improves your own opinion of yourself.

A better self image reduces self-doubt, and a reduced level of self-doubt leads to more confidence. And as we all know, confidence, when not used in excess, can be a very powerful tool in the execution required to achieve one’s goals.

Like UFC Champion Georges St. Pierre once said, “When you look good, you feel good, and when you feel good, you do good.”

Georges St. Pierre is currently the #2 ranked mixed martial artist in the world, so unless you’re the #1, I don’t think you can really argue with his logic here, or would even want to for that matter.
