HOT!

Having a set of bright and white teeth will definitely raise your confidence and self esteem, so if you struggle with spotted and yellowish teeth it is time to make a change.

Check out the available teeth whitening procedures, and select the one that fits mostly your needs and your budget of course:

The teeth whitening toothpastes

There are plenty of such toothpastes available which contain active teeth whitening ingredients. These toothpastes also contain abrasive agents, which will gently help scrubbing away those stubborn yellowish or brownish spots from your teeth.

However, if you struggle with severely discolored and yellow teeth, you should first have to go through professional teeth whitening at the dentist and then maintain your beautiful white smile with such toothpastes.

It is important to keep in mind that you should not use constantly only whitening toothpastes, but alternate them with regular herbal toothpaste use.

OTC teeth whitening gels, strips, mouth trays

There is a huge variety of over the counter teeth whitening products available in drug stores and pharmacies. The whitening strips are particularly easy to use, as you only have to apply them over your teeth and allow them to take action for as long as indicated in the instructions.

These strips contain a very thin layer of peroxide gel, and peroxide is the no.1 ingredient which whitens even the stubbornly stained teeth. The downside is that you might have to do the treatment even up to several months, in case of severe staining.

Again, dentists do not recommend using such teeth whitening products for more than maximum twice per year. The enamel of the tooth can be destroyed if you overuse such products. Moderation is the key, even when it comes to teeth whitening products!

Laser Teeth whitening at the dentist

Whether a regular dentist, or a cosmetic dentist, they can both provide you with this procedure. Laser teeth whitening is less invasive than all the other procedures, but it will be more expensive. Laser teeth whitening is performed in about one our, and your teeth will stay white and bright for several months, up to one year.

Laser teeth whitening procedure is the most comfortable one, and the fastest one too, you just need to make sure to select a highly qualified dental professional to perform the procedure.

Your teeth might become a little sensitive after the procedure, but that sensitiveness will go away after approximately 48 hours. This is why the dentist will also advise that you should avoid brushing the teeth, or consume any too hot or too cold foods within this interval.
