Volunteers to Provide Free Dental Services on Valentine’s Day

On Saturday some dentists will use the office to offer a day of free cleanings, fillings and extractions, some will provide free dental care for children from low-income families on Friday. For hours, hundreds of Americans waited in line for free dental services.

Free Dental Treatment for Children and Adults

In celebration of National Children’s Dental Health Month, dentists will be providing dental care to children who are uninsured and do not regularly see a dentist. More than two dozen dentists throughout the county opened their office doors Friday to low-income children and adults to provide free services and education.

Adults and Kids to Receive Free Dental Services

Local dentists teamed up to give every child a smile that they can be proud of. They are providing free cleanings, fillings and other basic dental services to thousands of children. Free dental services to uninsured kids were provided by these dentists under the Give Kids A Smile program. The program Missions of Mercy will host a free dental services clinic for adults.

Friday was the 8th annual Give Kids a Smile Day from the American Dental Association. Free dental care was provided for more than 320,000 uninsured children between the ages of 3 and 12 nation wide.
