Dental braces causing sores and cuts, when will my mouth be used to this?

    Question
I got braces and they’re poking my upper lip and inside of my cheeks. Dental wax is not really helpful, it just falls off in no time. Is it true that my mouth will develop a callus like lining to protect against this? If so, when?
