The U.S. Budget Crisis Could Affect Dental Care for Millions

American President Barack Obama signed the PPACA (Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act) in 2010. This act was put into place to authorize additional spending of money needed to help American citizens better care for their teeth.
However, with Congress currently butting heads in an effort to cut trillions of dollars out of the budget in order to raise the nation’s debt ceiling, the PPACA could be in serious jeopardy. With budget cuts in store for a number of programs if Congress cannot reach a decision, it looks as if millions could be without the critical dental care that they need.
