In the past eight to 10 years tooth whitening has soared in popularity as in-office treatments with professional tooth whitening gels in dentists’ offices have incorporated new technologies like lasers to maximize results. Additionally, in-home over the counter tooth whitening systems and gels have improved as well. Teeth whitening kits that are available at drugstores and retailers can now get teeth up to 10 shades whiter, and their price has come down dramatically.
