Today, the use of dental crowns serves a purpose that is often a combination of restorative and aesthetic functions but, when first introduced, they were intended primarily for repairs. What are veneers? In general, veneer is a tooth covering with any material from its visible part. At the moment, as dental veneers are used mostly composite materials (those which are used for dental fillings) and porcelain (ceramics).
