Oil Pulling Therapy for Good Oral Health

Dr. F. Karach, M.D, who introduced this ancient technique to the modern oral health practice said, oil pulling is very simple, completely harmless, and inexpensive therapy which totally heals head-aches, bronchitis, tooth pain, thrombosis, eczema, ulcers and diseases of stomach, intestines, heart, blood, kidney, liver, lungs and women’s diseases. It heals diseases of nerves, paralysis, and encephalitis. It prevents the growth of malignant tumors, cuts and heals them. Chronic sleeplessness is cured.

Oil pulling process involves swishing oil in the mouth and drawing it through the teeth for a period of at least 10 minutes, preferably in the morning and on an empty stomach. It works the same way as cleaning soaps – they are basically fats that attract germs and clean. Oil pulling attracts germs and pulls the bacteria out. The oil is never swallowed and has to be discarded, as it gets loaded with bacteria and toxins.

Organic, unrefined and cold-pressed free from chemical residues oils are recommended for this practice. Known for its nutritional and desirable health effects, Sesame oil (also known as gingelly oil or til oil) is considered among the best oils to be used for the therapy. Sunflower oil and Coconut oil also works great. The last feels considerably more pleasant in the mouth than the other two.

Oil pulling cleans the gum line without damaging it. It can tackle such oral health problems as bad breath and gum inflammation in cases when bacteria is the main cause of the disease. It can also help prevent and reverse tooth disease.
