HOT!

This weekend, well over 1,000 locals from the Maryland area will have yet one more reason to smile.

On June 22 and June 23 there is a huge volunteer free dental event held, which aims at providing free dental care services to people who need them.

Sadly, according to current statistics there are well over 50,000 Marylanders without any kind of dental insurance.

This free clinic is made a reality thanks to the efforts of Mission of Mercy volunteers. The exact location of the clinic is at Chopticon High School, up until 6:00pm on Friday and on Saturday the clinic opens its doors at 8:00am and free dental services will be provided up until 6:00pm

Up until now, there are 800+ patients who have already gone through medical screening, but walk- ins are also accepted.

If you are not medically prescreened, you are advised to arrive in the early morning hours to the clinic, in order to have yourself a chance of getting the dental treatment that you need.

Chopticon High school is located in St Mary’s County, Morganza (on Route 242). Such humanitarian events are the ones that make our world better.

With so many people out there without any kind of dental insurance, there are just too many people who are now suffering from dental pain and other oral health complications.

The mission of the volunteers is to aid this pain, and to offer the patients the advice and information that they need to continue with their dental treatments the right way.
