Free Oral Health Screenings for Children
Free oral health screenings will be offered by the Flathead Community Health Center. The dental screenings are offered for children between 2 and 18 years old, and the date is December 22 from 8am to 4pm.
Among the free dental services offered it is important to mention the preventative fluoride treatments, oral examination, and children will also receive a healthy smile goody bag with important oral healthcare items.
The free dental services will be offered on a first come first served basis, there are no appointments needed. Funding for the free dental screening day is offered by the Dennis Washington Foundation.

The location: Back Mountain Harvest Assembly, 340 Carverton Road. The professional teeth cleaning and hygiene services are available on Mondays from 6 to 8pm. So where is all the free services for those of us who live in virginia beach virginia?I am tired of reading about all the free asst.while I sit here with serious dental needs and no dentist in this area,who is willing to help.Going to the E.R. for dental needs costs everyone.Instead of having health ins.to cover things or having dentists provide care on a sliding scale or some type of payment plan,they would rather leave it to the public to pick up the tab,while they get rich,for their “state of the art” business.Not all of us are slackers,out to scam the dentist.Dental ins.provides nothing of signifigance.When they do the waiting peroid is long and then there is a limit to what they will pay.When is someone going to address this issue?I am sick of reading about others out there who need help;sick of reading about free services for one day and care is also limited or you may not get seen at all.Do all these dentists think they are doing us a favor;maybe to ease their own conscience?If they really wanted to help they would change things where everyone has access to dental care.I would love to hear from a dentist regarding this issue.All I ever hear is eqipment and procedures are very expensive;”I don’t want to get stuck with the bill”.How are other countries able to provide the same services,for so much less?Probably because they are not so greedy.It’s a shame we live in such a prosperous country and these dentists have us hostage.Something or someone should help us make a change!
