Free dental treatments will be offered at the mobile dental clinic, known as ToothBus.
Here, several dentists and dental assistants from the Mission Children’s Dental will donate their time and skills in the benefit of these kids.
In order to help preventing tooth decay, the dental sealants will be provided to kids of third and fifth grades from Marion Elementary School.
These free dental care treatments are extremely important, especially in the case of children.
The free dental care day is sponsored by the North Carolina Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Free dental care event is also offered as part of the greater, national Give Kids a Smile Day.
On an annual basis, as many as 600 children are offered preventative and basic dental care treatments on the ToothBus traveling all throughout North Carolina.
