Thousands Received Free Dental Care in Arizona
Last weekend, thousands of needy patients received free dental care in Phoenix, Arizona.
There have been more than 1,500 dentists, dental hygienists and lab technicians who joined forces and donated their free time and skills in the benefit of the community.
The free dental care clinic has been set up at the Arizona State Fairgrounds (the Veterans Memorial Coliseum), and they basically transformed the area into a huge dental clinic.
The free dental care event was called “One Million Reasons to Smile”, and the main sponsor was the Arizona Dental Mission of Mercy.
The free dental care services have been provided to both adults and children who couldn’t otherwise afford to pay for regular dental work.
Among the free dental treatments offered there were available professional dental cleanings, extractions, cavity fillings but also minor dental lab work.
This free dental clinic offered treatments on a fist come first served basis.
The free dental clinic has been held from 6am to 6pm on Friday and Saturday (December 7 and 8, respectively).
