Successful Free Dental Clinic Held
On November 16 and 17 there were two free dental days held in Greensboro.
The free dental work treatments were performed at the Greensboro Coliseum Annex.
The free dental clinic was held from 7:30am to 5:00pm on Friday, and from 7:30 to 3:00 pm on Saturday.
These free dental work days were part of the greater NCMOM events (North Carolina Mission of Mercy).
Organizers say there were well over 900 patients who got the needed treatments.
There were approximately 500 dental professionals who volunteered for this free dental work event, including dental hygienists, dentists, lab technicians and general volunteers.
Patients received a wide range of free dental work treatments such as restorations, professional dental cleanings, X-rays, or extractions.
Technicians also performed free denture partials.
Patients who got eligible for the free dental work treatments were those who earned no more than 200% of the national poverty level on an annual basis
