Free Dental Services for Low-Income Uninsured Adults

MIDLAND – Nicole Brunelle believes so strongly in the importance of good oral health that she is offering free dental hygiene service for one day to people who can’t afford it. One way hygienists are aiming to educate the public and the government is with a free one-day event called Gift from the Heart on Feb. 12.

Del Mar College to offer free dental X-rays

CORPUS CHRISTI — Dental program at Del Mar College offers free service. Del Mar College Dental Assisting Program is offering free dental X-ray service Thursdays and Fridays beginning Feb. 10 and continuing through April 21 in Room 125 of the Health Sciences Building 1.

The program offers appointments beginning at 1 p.m. Thursdays and at 9 a.m. Fridays and appointments must be made.

Free Dental Clinic for Youths without Dental Insurance

KANAWHA CITY, W.Va. (WSAZ) — Helping youths open wide and say “ahhh”. For eight years, there’s been free exams for youths up to 18 years old as part of a National Children’s Dental Access Day, which took place Friday in our region.

The event is sponsored by the Kanawha Valley Dental Society and the American Dental Association. Dentists offered the free clinics at locations in both Kanawha City and Poca.

100 will get free dental work

Millhopper Family Dentistry will offer free fillings, extractions and cleanings as part of the office’s “Care to Share” event Saturday. Starting at 8 a.m., a team of dentists, hygienists and volunteers will treat the first 100 patients. The office is located at 3510 NW 43rd St.

At last year’s event, 121 patients received more than $50,000 in free dental services.

Area dentists offer free care to residents in Marco, Fort Myers and Bonita

Area dentists are offering free dental care this weekend and next to residents of Marco Island, Fort Myers and Bonita Springs. Bonita Dental Care, 8951 Bonita Beach Rd, Ste. 206, is guaranteeing the first 100 patients free extractions, fillings or cleanings during the event that starts 7:30 a.m. Saturday.

Cosmetic Dentistry of South Florida, at 3730 Del Prado Blvd. S. in Cape Coral, will host a similar event on Feb. 18. The events are linked to Dentistry From the Heart, a non-profit organization that aims to provide free dental work to the needy.
