The Oregon Dental Association hosted a free dental clinic on Nov22 and Nov. 23.

It has been two-day free dental clinic, and the Oregon Convention Center has been equipped properly with special portable dental stations which helped offering medical assistance for people who couldn’t afford to pay for such dental services.

There were offered free dental services and dental screenings according to a first come first served basis.

Even though people were not required to pay for these dental services, some of them arrived at the clinic in the evening already, so that they would be able to have proper access to these services in the morning.

Such humanitarian events are always more then welcome since there is a huge number of people who struggle with a bad financial situation.

In such cases, dental hygienists and professionals from all over the country join their forces in order to dedicate their skills and time for a noble cause.

According to the majority of dentists who usually work as volunteers at such free dental events, this is the time when they can offer something back to the community.

And they do so from all their heart. The services that are generally offered at such dental events include free professional screenings and cleanings, tooth extraction, filings and even root canal treatments for those who struggle with complicated dental health problems.
