Still time to register for Give Kids A Smile free dental assistance day, Sat. Feb. 26
Main Street’s Children’s Dentistry offers free dental assistance for children whose families cannot afford care or are uninsured, giving back to the community during National Children’s Dental Health Month, in conjunction with the American Dental Association’s volunteer initiative.
Give Kids A Smile will take place Saturday, February 26, 2011; from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Main Street Children’s Dentistry of Kendall; 7887 N. Kendall Drive, Suite 200, Kendall.

Medical and dental mission in San Jose, a success
SAN JOSE, OCCIDENTAL MINDORO, March 1 (PIA) Mayor Jose T. Villarosa of Occidental Mindoro announce today the overwhelming success of the recently concluded medical and dental mission conducted at San Jose.
A total of 120 patients benefited from the free dental assistance while 111 persons benefitted from the free medical check-up and free medicine held at Barangay 5, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro.

Dental clinic to serve underprivileged Santa Rosa students
Underprivileged children from Central High, Bagdad Elementary and Chumuckla Elementary schools will be receiving free dental assistance this Saturday because of efforts made by dentist Dr. Dan Henry and the Chumuckla Community Church.
The second annual Healing Springs Dental Fair will bring in dentists from Santa Rosa and Escambia counties to provide free dental assistance, cleaning and treatments for children in the three northern Santa Rosa County communities.

POCATELLO — Starting early on dental care and education were the goals of Give Kids a Smile Day. Friday and Saturday’s program, aimed at assisting uninsured or underinsured children with preventive dental assistance and education to taking care of their teeth, was hosted at the Idaho State University Department Dental Hygiene Clinic, located at 999 Martin Luther King Dr.

Dental Assistance at SSMS deemed a success
SILVER SPRINGS–Silver Stage Middle School nurse Vicki Aveiro reported that a number of students participated in free dental assistance provided by the dental staff of Healthy Smiles Dentistry of Yerington. In fact, some 73 students received a dental exam and fluoride varnishing as part of National Children’s Dental Health Month, and courtesy of Brian Struby, D.D.S., Krissy Camarena, dental assistant, and Kallee Kinkel, dental hygienist, who performed the screenings.
