Low Income to Receive Free Dental Help

The free dental help days will be held September 13 & 14, and this is an event sponsored by the Roanoke Mission of Mercy.

However, those who wish to take advantage of the free dental help services offered next weekend, must pick their tickets this Saturday.

The advance tickets are handed out at the Advance Auto Parts parking lot (at the Crossroads Mall in Roanoke), starting with 10:00am.

This is already the sixth year when the free dental help clinic is offering free care to the needy people of the community.

The main aim of the free dental help clinic is to offer treatments to low income and uninsured patients from Roanoke, VA.

Up until now, Roanoke Mission of Mercy free dental help clinic has provided $4 million worth of free dental care of approximately 5,000 uninsured/low income patients.

The free dental help clinic is made possible thanks to the effort of the volunteer dentists and dental hygienists, and they use portable dental equipment to offer the services such as dental X-rays, professional dental cleanings, cavity filings and even oral surgery treatments.

Patients 18+ years old are mainly eligible for the free dental help services offered next weekend.

During the two day free dental help clinic, last year there were treated 826 patients.
