Dental Clinic Opens Doors for Low-Income Adults Despite Freezing Weather

OKLAHOMA CITY — Despite the snow and freezing temperatures, a free dental clinic will still go on this week. The Oklahoma Mission of Mercy’s Free Dental Clinic is scheduled for Friday and Saturday at the Cox Convention Center. Volunteers will be providing free cleanings and dental work on a first come, first served basis. Doors open both days at 5 a.m.

Gift From the Heart Event Another Way to Boost Oral Care for Northumberland Residents

(COBOURG) – A gift from the heart awaits those families who care about their oral health, but cannot access regular dental hygiene care.
Two dental hygienists in Cobourg will offer free dental services on Saturday, February 12, to local residents who cannot afford to access regular dental care.

The free hygiene services are part of the third-annual Gift From the Heart event, in which dozens of Registered Dental Hygienists across Ontario and Alberta offer their professional services free-of-charge. A representative of the Northumberland Oral Health Coalition welcomes the Gift From the Heart event as another way to ensure every person from this area who needs oral care can get it.

AURORA — Aurora dentist Dr. Rocio Martinez is helping her community by giving free emergency dental treatments from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 9 at her office, Allure Smiles by Design, 1187 N. Farnsworth Ave., Aurora.

The Emergency Dental Treatment Day is designed to treat anyone (adult or child) for free who cannot afford dentistry.

Free Dental Clinic at Cox Convention Center will Provide Care to Uninsured Adults

Dental hygiene is so important but in this economic downturn, it is a luxury to have dental insurance. Luckily, a group of dental sponsors here in Oklahoma City have gotten together to host the second annual Oklahoma Mission of Mercy (OkMOM), on February 4-5 at the Cox Convention Center starting at 5 AM.

This two-day clinic is designed to meet the critical needs of dental patients of all ages who are uninsured, underinsured, or just unable to seek dental care. Last year nearly 2,000 Oklahomans took advantage of this event. Check out this video from the event…
