Free Dental Screenings & Treatment for Low-Income Children
Give Kids A Smile® is an event to provide free, desperately-needed dental treatment to local children from low-income families who lack a regular dentist. This event is part of the Give Kids A Smile National Children’s Access Day founded by the American Dental Association. Local volunteer dentists from the 2nd District Montana Dental Association are teaming up to provide free dental treatment to low-income children in Missoula and surrounding rural areas.

CHILDREN in Almeria Province are able to benefit from free dental treatment thanks to a programme which the Junta de Andalucia Health Department has been offering since 2002. Now, with just presenting their health card, all children born between 1996 and 2005 can benefit from the service without the need of a special voucher which was required until January this year. Parents can choose the dentist where they would like their children to be treated from a list of 128, 110 private and 18 public.

Give Kids A Smile Day provides free dental treatment to children in need
Moline, Illinois – Bethany for Children & Families is pleased to announce Give Kids A Smile® (GKAS) Day on February 4, 2011, where over 400 disadvantaged children in Rock Island and Scott County will receive dental cleanings and screenings. In all, 89 Quad City dentists have volunteered their time and resources to provide free dental treatment: oral exam, cleaning, x-rays, and fluoride treatment to children who do not have access to dental care. The GKAS volunteer dental offices have stepped up to the plate, and the program is now poised to deliver more free dental care than ever.

Genesee County dental offices to offer free dental treatment for children on Give Kids A Smile day
GENESEE COUNTY, Michigan — More than a dozen dentists, including three in Burton, will take part in offering brighter smiles to children in Genesee County Feb. 4 for free.
Dr. Trina Floyd helped 16 unprivileged county residents between five months and 18 years old during the 2010 Give Kids A Smile Day event, estimating a savings for families of $150 to $200 per visitor who came in and received a cleaning, x-ray, check-up or other dental treatment.
