Local Dentists to Schedule Free Dental Clinic for Uninsured Children

On Saturday, February 23 there will be a free dental care day held in Abington, Pennsylvania.

The free dental care day is sponsored by the Abington Police Athletic League.

Two local dentist offices will offer free dental care treatments to children between 6 and 18 years of age, from 10am to 1pm.

Children will receive a free dental screening and dental sealant applications.

The children will also get evaluations for oral health conditions such as gum disease, dental decay, dental occlusion and overall dental hygiene.

The kids who are diagnosed with dental decay will also receive another free dental care examination, which is a dental X-ray.

In order to get eligible for these free dental are services, children must present their medical history record and a signed consent slip from the parent or the legal guardian.

Children between 6 and 10 years old must be accompanied by a parent on the dental visits.
