The WDA Foundation, together with the Wisconsin Dental Association join forces and will bring to Madison the fourth annual Mission of Mercy free dental event.
The location of the free dental clinic is at the Exhibition Hall of the Alliant Energy Center, 1919 Alliant Energy Center Way, Madison.
The free dental care event will be held on June 29 and 30, and its main purpose is to provide free dental treatment to both adults and children who are in need.
This upcoming charitable dental clinic is basically the largest ever of its kind in the United States.
There will be $1.75 million worth in dental care offered throughout the two days of the clinic, and there will be well over 1,500 volunteer dental professionals donating their time and skills for such a noble cause.
Among the main free dental treatments offered, it is important to mention fillings, extractions, oral hygiene education, and even partial dentures.
According to estimations, throughout the two days of the clinic, there will be treated around 3,500 patients.
The organizers will not ask for any identification documentation such as Social Security number, photo id, or any other personal documents.
On site, there will be plenty of interpreters for the Spanish and Hmong languages, who will assist patients.
The free dental services will be provided on a first come first served basis, and the door of the clinic will open as soon as 5:30 am. There will be no appointments required, but patients are encouraged to arrive early in order to have a good chance to receive treatment.
