Hundreds Present at Free Dental Clinic

The Greensboro Coliseum hosted this Friday a free dental work clinic

There have been hundreds of needy patients lined up outside, with some of them arriving to the location as soon as Thursday noon.

Such free dental work days are particularly important in areas where there are just too many patients without dental insurance or without the means to pay for dental work at a private dentist.

This free dental work day has been organized by the NCMOM-North Carolina Mission of Mercy-

and organizers estimated they would perform free dental extractions and cleanings to about 1,000 patients.

Volunteer dentists and dental hygienists provided free dental work treatments up until 5:30pm on Friday,

but on Saturday they will resume work. On Saturday, the dental clinic will be open from 7:30am to 3:00pm.
