Free Oral Cancer Screenings Scheduled

Currently there are millions of Americans struggling with oral cancer.

However, one of the most important things you should know is that if detected early enough, oral cancer can be cured.

Often times, oral cancer does not giver any obvious signs, and it takes a skilled dental professional to screen for the disease.

Every single year, about 40,000 new patients are diagnosed with this terrible disease, and dentists say early detection and general awareness is now more important than ever.

This is why, on Saturday (August 18), Dayton Comprehensive Dentistry from Kettering will offer such free oral cancer screenings to patients.

There are just too many people out there without a regular dentist, without proper insurance or enough money to take these tests annually.

This is why the dental staff from the Kettering practice has decided to offer something back to the community, and perform these free oral cancer screenings.

Dentists will offer the screenings on Saturday morning and they will continue to do so until 2:00pm.
