Free Mobile Dental Clinic Scheduled for Uninsured

Mobile dental clinic to offer free dental services to those who have no dental insurance.

A tooth extraction at a private practice can cost even up to $1,200, depending on the complexity of the procedure, the anesthetic needed and so on.

There are a lot of people out there who cannot possibly afford to pay such huge amounts for a dental extraction, but they struggle with pain and discomfort from abscessed teeth which must be extracted.

The Bellevue Baptist Church has created the Christian Mobile Dental Clinic which’s aim is to offer free dental services to the needy of the society, to those who do not have dental insurance.

This free mobile dental clinic is visiting different locations every week, and the volunteer dentists provide free dental services for up to four days.

On Wednesdays, they offer free professional dental cleanings, while from Thursday to Saturday they offer dental exams, extractions, fillings and dental X-rays- all these, at no charge.

Since 2009 when they first started this free dental clinic project, volunteer dentists have offered about $1.4 million worth of free dental care to the citizens of Memphis.
