The free dental services are going to be offered by oral health students from the Newcastle University’s Central Coast campus.

Among others, they will offer free dental examinations, professional dental cleanings and fluoride treatments. All of the services are offered by the students under the close supervision of expert dentists.

Free dental services will be provided in a special van, or mobile dental clinic.

This free dental care event will give an opportunity for the students to get real life experience through the work they provide, while patients who do not have access to dental care will receive quality dental treatments.

This free dental work event is possible thanks to both corporate and community support.

Up until August 22, the free oral health services will be available every Wednesday in a specially equipped dental van.

The mobile clinic is going to be set up at the Legend Carpark, right near Minigolf at the Mingara Recreation Club.

Those who are eligible are the holders of Health care Cards and the seniors.

Those who would like to make appointments, can freely call at the following number: 4349-4416

  1. WE ARE GOING TO START FREE MOBILE DENTAL CLINIC FOR POOR PEOPLE OF RURAL AREA OF PAKISTAN AND WE NEED ONE DENTAL VAN WITH MINIMUM 2 CHAIR WITH ALL EQUIPMENT.

  2. I had a similar idea to run a mobile dental clinic out of Gurjrat hospital in Northern Pakistan where a new hsopital has been built ( funded by Japanese Embassy on land donated by local businessman) which at present has a cleft palate unit finished and is operational. Volunteer surgeons go there also to do cleft ops and we shall expand to provide an A and E, and other services including dentistry. I note that rural areas around there are very poorly servied for dentistry . I am going there on October 15th . Maybe there is a link here? Grateful if you could at least keep me informed of your progress.
    Best wishes
Dr Ian Robertson . Dental surgeon England.
