Creating smiles free dental work
Smiles With A Heart, an exceedingly special day of free dental work for the needy, will be held Fri. , Apr 8. Smiles With A Heart is already in its 6th year and has donated just about $250,000 in free dental work in the area.
Hospitals , community and faith-based groups, and others are prompted to designate those requiring dental work for no cost. All dental work will be performed at the Fredericksburg Smile Center. In 2010, Smiles With A Heart helped 173 patients with over $70,000 in donated dental work. This community outreach is provided thanks to dental practices and other companies in the area. WELDON — Final preparations are in progress for Fri. and Saturday’s North Carolina Missions of Mercy Dental Hospital . An outreach programme of the North Carolina Dental Society, NC MOM will hold its 2nd yearly free adult dental hospital from 7:30 a.m. To five p.m. Fri. , and from 7:30 a.m. To three p.m. Sat. in The Centre at Halifax Community University . The hospital, subsidized by the varsity, the North Carolina Dental Health Fund and The Daily Herald, is anticipated to treat four hundred to five hundred patients over a two-day period and will be offering basically dental cleanings, restorations and tooth extractions.

PORTLAND, Oregon– Dr. Todd L. Beck, DMD, of Mt. Tabor Dental does not spend his Saturdays the way most Portlanders do. While local residents enjoy the outside or time with family, Dr. Beck is sat in the back of a mobile dental office, and provides free dental work to those in Portland who require it. For over ten years, Dr. Beck, an associate teacher at Oregon Health Sciences Varsity , has volunteered his services with Medical Groups Global. Based in Portland, Medical Groups Global is a world health organization serving poor in more than seventy countries.
