Davenport citizens should prepare to get a smile on their face.
On October 5th and the 6th, there will be a free dental clinic held for two-days.
This will be a free dental care event sponsored exclusively by the Iowa Mission of Mercy, and the exact location is at 136 E. 3rd Street, Davenport IA-52801.
The free dental event will be hosted by the River Center in Davenport.
The dental clinic will open its doors starting as early as 6:00am.
Organizers urge patients to arrive as early as possible to the location, because this will be a first come first served free dental work.
The volunteer dentists are going to examine the patients, and will provide the necessary dental work.
Among the most important free dental services, there will be professional dental cleanings, dental fillings, extractions, a limited number of root canal therapies and also removable partial dentures.
Unfortunately, the staff will not be able to provide all the patients who need it with partial dentures or root canal treatments, but they will choose those patients who struggle with the most critical dental health condition.
Also, it is important to mention that the Iowa Mission of Mercy staff will not be able to offer free dental bridges, dental crowns or dentures.
When patients arrive to the location, they will be guided to an attending dentist.
Together, they will discuss the most needed dental treatments, which can be provided on site, and then the patient will receive these free dental treatments.
Such humanitarian dental events are always mostly welcome, especially since the number of people without proper dental insurance or access to proper dental work is on a continuous rise.
