Free dental events are events, which are good to know in time about.

This October, Davenport citizens will enjoy yet another huge event where free dental care will be provided.

This will be an event sponsored and offered by the Iowa Mission of Mercy, and there will be 100 volunteer dentists who will be providing the free care.

There will be a couple of more hundreds of volunteers helping out, and according to estimations, the free treatments will be offered to about 1,500 patients.

Patients are mainly going to be between 21 and 54 years old, although the organizers expect even some younger patients who need dental care.

The free dental care event is a joint effort of the Iowa Dental Foundation, the Iowa Dental Association and the Iowa Mission of Mercy.

Patients who will be present at the event are mainly those who do not have dental insurance, so they most probably have to wait even years in order to have access to dental checkup.

The patients are offered the free dental services on a first come first served basis, and the services include dental examinations, extractions and tooth fillings.

The organizers hope that there will be several hundreds of volunteers present to help out, even if not all of these volunteers are professionals from the medical field.

They can help with administrative tasks and other similar tasks. The mayor makes a call for action, and invites as many people as possible to join the event and volunteer.
