Free Dental Treatments for the Needy Uninsured Offered

On August the 17th and the 18th 2012, there will be held two days of free dental clinic in Mankato, Minnesota.

The exact location of the free dental clinic is at the Civic Center Plaza, Mankato, MN 56001.

This free dental event will be hosted by the Minnesota Dental Association and the Minnesota Dental Foundation, and this will be the first Minnesota Mission of Mercy event hosted here.

The MOM events started as early as 2,000 and currently these types of free clinics are run in well over 18 states of the US.

The aim of these clinics is to provide free dental care for people who cannot otherwise afford them, either because there are on a low level of income or because they simply haven’t got any kind of dental insurance.

Usually, large temporary free dental clinics are created in places here people do not have proper access to dental care, and at these events there are welcome both children and adults who cannot afford to pay for dental treatments.

At the event there are welcome both children and adults in need of these services, and there is no pre-qualification required whatsoever.

According to estimations, this first MnMOM clinic aims to treat about 2,000 patients, and the organization will provide approximately $1 million worth of free dental treatments for the population.

Such humanitarian free dental events are most welcome especially in areas where people cannot have access to proper dental care, or even if they have got easy access they cannot afford to pay for such treatments.
