This is going to be a charitable dentistry event, and the dental professionals will offer free dental treatments to about 6,000 children at well over 200 clinics all throughout the state.

Give Kids a Smile event is being sponsored by the Minnesota Dental Association.

Dr. Michael Flynn who is the president of the Minnesota Dental Association says these free dental treatments days are held in order to raise the awareness upon the importance of a good oral hygiene from an early stage.

Parents should take advantage of such free dental treatments events and take their kids for a checkup, or to get the dental treatments that they need for free.

Children under 18 years of age are accepted for the program, and they should be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian in order to receive these treatments.

Those who would like to schedule an appointment for this upcoming free dental treatments event, should call at

1-800-543-7709.

Also, they should feel free to check out the participating dental clinics at mndental.org.
