Free Dental Treatments for Children Held

Since February is the National Children’s Dental Health Month, as many as three clinics from Solano County offered free dental treatments for children.

The free dental treatments were to be offered on Saturday, February 2, as part of the Give Kids a Smile event.

The free dental treatments were offered by Solano public health officials, and this is already the third consecutive year when they organize such dental events.

Among others, it is important to mention the following free dental treatments were performed- dental examinations, professional dental cleanings, and sealant applications.

Kids also received free toothbrush kits and there were pediatric checkups available as well.

Children eligible for the free dental treatments were the ones between 1 to 18 years of age, and there were no appointments necessary.

The three locations across Solano county where the free dental treatments were available:

-from 9am to 3pm Saturday at La Clinica De La Raza -2920 Sonoma Blvd.

-at the dental clinic in Fairfield, located at 2101 Courage Drive

-in Vacaville at 1119 E. Monte Vista Avenue
