During this free dental event, dental students will offer free treatments and dental screenings to children younger than 18.
The students offering these services are from the University of Colorado Dentist School of Dental Medicine.
The aim of the program is to offer under insured and uninsured children a chance to a healthy smile. Also, there are welcome for checkup and treatments the kids who are on the CHP or Medicaid system.
However, program coordinator Linda Uhland says that the staff will not turn away children from the event, not matter what type of insurance they have.
The free dental treatments will be offered by dental students, in a special mobile dental unit.
It is important to mention that professional medical staff will constantly supervise the work of the students.
Among the free dental care services offered there will be fillings, extractions, dental sealings, professional cleanings and examinations.
The exact location of the event will be at 172 Justice Center Road and here will be the mobile dental unit parked.
Between July 9-13 and July 16-20 the appointments can be made, starting with 8:00am and up until 4:00pm.
