The UBC Faculty of Dentistry, Salvation Army and the CDI College are going to host the Open Wide Community Clinic Day – free dental clinic.
This free dental services event will take place on September 15.
The faculty and student volunteers are going to donate their time and skills in order to provide free dental care treatments to Salvation Army clients.
Among others, there will be offered free general dentistry hygiene services, restorative dental care and basic pain relief treatments.
Through this event, the students will have the opportunity to get involved with more hands on experience, while the low income clients will have the opportunity to receive the dental treatments they need so much, at no cost.
Those who are interested to find out more details regarding the event, should call at the following number: 1-877-404-4353.
Alternatively, they can also check out the updates for the event on the Twitter and Facebook account pages.
The free dental care project is called the Dental Assisting program at CDI College (or Open Wide Community Clinic Day).
