Summer is here and kids and teens are already enjoying their summer holiday.
However, grown ups thought of the health of these children, and several dentists and other volunteers will join forces to offer kids free dental care, right before the school starts again.
The event will take place on August 1st (Wednesday), and the event is offered by the Pinellas County Health Department.
Children between 4 and 18 years old are highly welcome to join the event and get a beautiful, white and healthy smile before school starts in September.
Among the free dental services offered there will be fluoride treatments which help fighting against tooth decay, professional dental cleanings, extractions, fillings, X-rays and general dental examinations.
All these services are completely free, so parents are encouraged to register their little ones for the upcoming one-day dental clinic.
It is important to mention that although appointments are not necessary, parents must accompany their little ones for the event. These free services are offered only to students from the Pinellas County. There will be basically two different locations where these dental care services will be offered:
-at the St. Petersburg Health Center located at 205 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St N., St. Petersburg. In order to get more information regarding this event, you should call at the following number (727)-824-6975
-at the Mid County Health Center located at 8751 Ulmerton Road, in Largo. For additional information, make enquiries at the following number: 727-524-4410
