Free Dental Services: Oral Exams for Kids

During August and September, the Indiana University Health LaPorte Dental Center is going to offer several days of free dental care exams to children who do not have proper dental insurance.

Those parents, who are interested to take their children to these free dental examinations, should call at the following number for appointments: (219)-326-1943.

The following are the dates when LaPorte Dental Center will offer these free dental services:

-August 8th- from 3:pm to 6pm
-August 9th- from 7:30am to 10:00am
-August 13th from 1:00pm to 3pm
-August 14th- 7:30am to 10:00am
-September 12-from 3:00pm to 6:00pm
-September 13th- 7:30am to 10:00am
-September 19th from 3:00pm to 6:00pm

The LaPorte Health center usually provides professional dental care to children and adults who are on a low income, or those who do not have proper dental insurance.

It is important to mention that patients on Medicaid are also offered free dental treatments by the clinic.

The health center is being supported by the IU Health LaPorte Hospital, and by the different grants obtained through the Indiana State Department of Health but also the LaPorte Hospital Foundation.
