The exact dates are June 29th and June 30th 2012, and the location is at the Crown Expo Center in Fayetteville, NC. The address is 1960 Coliseum Drive, NC -28306.
These free dental services are aimed for people who live on an income 200% less than the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
This clinic is a joint effort of NCMOM and the CARE Clinic, Better Health of Cumberland County and Operation Inasmuch.
According to estimations, there will be as may as 1,000 patients treated during the two days of the free dental clinic.
Some of the main free dental services available at this clinic include professional dental cleanings, tooth extractions, dental fillings, X-rays examinations, general oral hygiene services and also basic oral surgical procedures.
For the two days while the dental clinic will last, the Expo Center will be converted into a clinic, and there will be more than 60 dental chairs available where the patients will be treated.
The aim of the Mission of Mercy Clinic is to provide free care to patients who do not have dental insurance and to those who have very low income.
Current statistics show that in the US 1 in 5 adults below the age of 65 actually do not have any kind of dental insurance.
These people cannot afford even the most basic dental care services, so they are forced to either live on with dental problems or turn to such humanitarian dental events.

It is quite humbling to see such humanitarian efforts exerted these days. I sincerely hope that this 2day free dental service will turn out successful.
