Free Dental Days for Kids: Elkins West Virginia

Tens of millions of children are struggling with decay, because their parents cannot afford to offer them proper dental insurance coverage.

Children are the most vulnerable in front of the health system.

It is not their fault when the parents cannot earn enough in order to provide them with regular dental checkups and the treatments that they need.

Many children require braces, and if they don’t get them they will have crooked and misaligned teeth as adults.

And this will affect severely not only their health but their social life as well. Then, tens of millions of children are struggling with decay- again, because their parents cannot afford to offer them proper insurance coverage.

Somebody has to take the responsibility for the oral health of these children, and often times this responsibility is taken by the good-hearted dental professionals who donate their free time and skills and offer them the treatments they need.

Wilson Martino Dental of Elkin has already started its humanitarian events. The dental staff of the practice organizes such free dental events for kids every year, and provides these children with proper care.

The generous dentists perform professional dental cleanings, fluoride treatments for prevention or dental examinations free of charge.

These free dental services are usually offered for children under the age of 12.

Wilson Martino is offering these services for the 7th year in a row, and has set up as main goal making sure that every child in the community is healthy.

The free services will be offered next Thursday in Bridgeport, while for the months of July and August the staff will provide free dental services for kids in Buckhannon, Fairmont and Morgantown.
