Free Dental Clinics to Offer Dental Care to Needy

Free Dental Clinic in New Bern NC in January

On January the 20th and 21st 2012 there will be a two-day free dental clinic held in New Bern NC. The location of the clinic will be at 4201 Country Club Road NC, 28562.

The N.C. Dental Society will join forces with the MERCI Clinic in order to offer free dental services for people who cannot afford them, at the Garber United Methodist Church. On both days, registration of the patients starts as early as 6am in the morning, so those interested are invited to arrive at the location from the early morning hours.

Those eligible must be 18 years of age or older, and they cannot earn more than 200% of the national poverty level on an annual basis. When patients arrive for registration, they must present a proof of income as well. At such humanitarian events, there are generally treated between 400 and 500 patients during the weekend, and according to estimations the New Bern project will offer free dental care to an even greater number of patients.

Oklahoma Mission of Mercy Free Dental Clinic in February

There are two days of free dental clinic scheduled for February the 4th and the 5th in Oklahoma City. The location of the event is at 1 Myriad Gardens OK, 73102.

The free dental event is sponsored by the Oklahoma Mission of Mercy, and the event will be held at the Cox Convention Center in the exhibit halls 1 and 2. At the convention center there will be approximately 1,700 dentists who dedicate their time and precious skills for a noble cause: to help people who cannot afford proper dental services.

Patients will be offered free dental services of a first come first served basis. There are no appointments necessary, and the clinic opens its doors at 5am on both days of service.
