Free Dental Clinic Offers $1 Million Worth of Treatments

August the 17th and the 18th are two days especially worth mentioning, because this is when a huge free dental care event will take place.

The exact location of the event is at the Civic Center Plaza in Mankato, Minnesota.

This is a free dental clinic – Mission of Mercy event, which aims to offer free dental treatments to patients who cannot possibly afford to pay a dentist for these treatments.

Also, there are just too many people living without any kind of dental insurance coverage, and while they need badly immediate treatment, they just need to keep on going to work while feeling great dental pain.

This Minnesota Mission of Mercy free dental clinic is offered by two huge organizations, namely the Minnesota Dental Foundation and the Minnesota Dental Association.

The Mission of Mercy free dental care events started about 12 years ago, and they have been present in well over 18 states of the US.

At these events, anyone who cannot afford dental care is welcome to receive it for free.

The organization is made up of hundreds of volunteer dentists, dental hygienists and general volunteers, who all make sure to provide these patients with top quality dental care, which is free.

Most importantly, there is no pre qualification needed, and anyone is eligible for the treatment.

This particular event also has a well drafted goal: that of offering free dental treatment to about 2,000 patients during these two days.

According to estimations, the dentists will provide well over $1 Million worth of free dental treatments to these patients.
