Free Dental Clinic for Low Income Shceduled

On August 24 and 25, the California Expo Center will host a two-day free dental clinic.

HOT!

This is going to be a joint effort free dental clinic sponsored by Mission of Mercy, CDA (California Dental Association) and the CDA Foundation.

The exact location of the free clinic will be at 1600 Exposition Boulevard, Sacramento-California.

According to several dental health statistics, approximately 10 million people in California do not have proper access to dental care.

At every event it organizes in collaboration with other humanitarian organizations, the CDA is offering free dental treatments for about 1,500 patients.

Whether they need primary care or emergency dental care, these people will leave with a smile on their faces, happy that they got rid of the dental pain and the frustration that was bothering them.

However, the sad part is that due to budget cuts, dental health receives less and less dental coverage every year.

This means that even more people will not have access to decent dental care.

Volunteers are always welcome to register and join such free dental clinics and events – because only together are we able to provide help for these people in need.

The working poor and the children are perhaps the most vulnerable in front of the system – this is why humanitarian organizations come to offer them the help they need, in the form of proper dental care.

  1. This article is another good example of why I’m advocating for Universal Comprehensive Dental Health Coverage for all. I started a new petition due to similar issues I’ve experienced as well as some of my family and friends. I am a cancer survivor and ran into hard times as a result. Hopefully this petition will make some woefully needed changes to our dental health system. It’s hard to understand why dental care isn’t part of a total universal comprehensive health care system. If you’re interested in supporting this initiative, please sign my petition, share and like it on Face Book too. My goal for this petition is 10,000 signature’s.
