This free dental clinic is the joint effort of the Illinois State Dental Society Foundation, the Illinois State Dental Society and the CURE Network (Collaborative Underserved Relief and Education Network).
Besides the free dental treatments provided during the two days of the clinic, there will also be medical and vision services offered for free for those who need them.
Among the free dental services offered there will be root canal treatments, fillings, extractions and professional dental cleanings.
The free dental clinic will open its doors starting with 6:00am on both days. It is important to keep in mind that the organizers will not allow anyone to enter the building before this time.
Moreover, those who want to have access to the free dental events should arrive early at the location, but bare in mind to dress up appropriately for the weather, since you might have to wait outside in line for your turn.
There will be portable toilets available on site, but patients will not be allowed to take into the building their chairs, blankets, or other extra baggage.
They must return these items to their vehicles before entering the building for the examinations and treatments.
The patients with critical dental needs will be treated on a priority basis, and only after this will be seen all the other patients.
At the moment you enter the free dental clinic, there will be a volunteer dentist with you, and together you will discuss the treatment plan that follows, and the services that you are entitled to receive on the spot.
