Free Dental Care Worth of $1.3 Million Provided by CDA

During this free dental care project, CDA Cares and the California Dental Association offered $1.3 Million of free dental care to needy patients.
This has been an extremely successful free dental clinic, where plenty of organizations, individuals, volunteer dentists and dental hygienists joined their forces to donate their time and skills for a noble cause.
There were well over 1,300 volunteers at the free dental clinic, out of which 600 were dental hygienists, dentists, lab technicians, nurses and other medical professionals.
There were also plenty of individual volunteers who helped out with administrative tasks such as data entry or translations on the spot.
Together these people were able to pain a smile on so many faces!
According to the first estimates, the volunteers performed about 2,000 free dental extractions during the two days of the free dental clinic.
Moreover, other free dental services offered included professional dental cleanings, fillings, and oral health education for patients who required it.
The dentists also offered as many as 201 dentures to the needy patients. Overall, the volunteers provided free dental services to as many as 2.026 patients.
