Children are the most vulnerable in front of the “decayed” dental and general medical system.
It is not their fault they cannot have access to proper dental treatments, and they surely should not be suffering from dental decay and dental pain just because their parents cannot afford a good dental insurance.
This is why several dental clinics and humanitarian organizations hold from time to time free dental care events, where they offer care to children.
This week, in Largo, Pinellas county, two dental clinics will host a free dental care event.
Children between the ages 4 and 18 are welcome to join the event, get the treatments they need and start the school with a healthy set of teeth and without pain.
Children will receive the following dental treatments at no charge: fluoride treatments, X-rays, general dental exams, extractions and fillings.
Keep in mind that each child should be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian.
The locations of the free dental clinic held on Wednesday – August 1st:
