There are numerous organizations around the world that specialize in offering dental and medical care for either low, or no, cost.
The Tzu Chi Foundation is one of the organizations that offers free medical and dental care at is semiannual fairs.
Most of the work done at this fair is consultative in nature.
The Tzu Chi Foundation was founded in 1966, and Tzu Chi means compassion.
The Foundation offers consultations on internal medicine and dentistry completely free of charge at their fairs.
These fairs have been a focus of the Tzu Chi Foundation for more than 16 years.
Founded by Dharma Master Cheng Yen, the Tzu Chie Foundation was created in Hualien, but has spread to 47 countries and aids people in over 69.
Now the Foundation not only offers free dental consultations at their fairs, but also has a large number of permanent free clinics to aid in everything from surgery to bone marrow donations to vaccinations.
The next free dental care fair will be held on July 8, 2012 in Milpitas.
Specifically, at 175 Dempsey Road, this is the Tzu Chi regional office.
