Free Dental Care Day Hosted by Virginia State University
On June 9, the VSU (Virginia State University) will host a free dental day event.

This is the “VSU Cares” program, and it is aimed at providing with free dental treatments for those local citizens who are in the most need of these treatments.
It is important to mention, that there will be at least 300 medical and general staff volunteering at the event, and according to estimations free dental treatments will be offered to about 600 patients.
Those interested to register for the program, should call 804 524-0132.
Patients who preregister will be offered detailed instructions regarding when to arrive and where to arrive exactly in order to benefit of these free dental treatments.
The patients will be offered the services on a first come first served basis, on June the 9th.
Patients who preregister have got priority for the treatments offered on June 9.
The free dental services will be offered starting with 7:00am, but patients looking for care should make sure to arrive much earlier.
Free dental treatments will be offered to the first 600 patients, and sadly the staff will have to turn down some of the patents.
Among the free dental services offered there will be extractions, minor dental surgery, professional dental cleanings and tooth fillings.
On site, there will also be present medical vans where the staff will provide hearing screenings for the patients who need them.
Everyone is eligible for the services offered at the VSU Cares program, and dental services are completely free.
