This is already the second annual free dental care event offered by the South Carolina Dental Association Dental Access and SC Mission 2012 Midlands.

The organizers wish to provide with free medical and other health treatments all those people who cannot afford to pay for dental treatments, or those who lack proper dental insurance.

Among the free dental services offered there will be professional dental cleanings, extractions, fillings and dental education.

According to estimations, this free dental and general health event will offer care to about 2,000 needy patients.

On Friday, the free clinic opens its doors starting with 6:00am and will last up until 6:00pm, while on Saturday the clinic starts at 6:00am again but will last only until 3:00pm.

Organizers welcome adults of 17+ years old to join free dental services event.

Starting with 4:00am, the parking lot at the State Fairgrounds will already be open to patients arriving to form lines.

This is a first come first served free dental care event, so patients are advised to arrive early in order to make sure they will get the treatment they need.

On site, there will be hundreds of dentists, dental hygienists, general practitioners and other volunteers providing these free dental and general health services.
