Free Dental Camp in Moodubelle, India

On the 2nd of October 2011, there has been a dental camp held in Moodubelle, at the Sri. Mahabhaleshwara Hindu Aided Higher Primary School, Edmer.

There have been several organizations, and dental specialists who have joined their forces in order to make this event come true.

Some of the participating organizations were: the A.J. Institute of Dental Science Kuntikana Mangalore, the Udupi Gramina Bantara Sanga, the Nisarga Yuvaka Mandala Edemer and the Abhinandhana Kukkikatte Udupi.

At the event there have been present plenty of personalities from the field of education, health and research from all over India. Ida Gibba Souza, who is an Udupi Jilla Panchayath Member has spoken at the inauguration of the camp, and warmly invited people to take advantage of such a great opportunity and join the event. Moreover, she has also sent her best wishes to all the participants of the dental camp.

At this particular dental camp, there were treated between 150 and 200 people who could not otherwise afford proper dental care. Among the services provided, it is important to mention: professional dental cleaning, fillings, and dental extractions.

Such humanitarian events are extremely important not only for the regions such as this particular Indian one, but to all other regions of the world where people simply cannot afford even basic dental care.

For this dental camp as well, there have been several volunteers from the medical field who have donated their time and expertise for an extremely noble cause.
